We came here with our 6 and 3 year old daughters and they both had a blast here! It's not a huge place, but there's plenty to keep kids entertained including multiple indoor play areas, an art area, and some outdoor activities as well. Our kids had a blast going between the different sections over and over. Prices were a little high, but you should be able to get a few hours of entertainment out of this place. Overall, I recommend checking out this museum for anyone with younger kids.
Overall the kids really enjoyed the children’s museum. They have an art room, a castle room, a pirate ship room, a grocery store room, a baby/toddler zone, and a construction room. My boys went back and forth between all and had plenty to do. Don’t miss all the things to do outside as well. The only reason I gave it a 4 out 5 stars was because it is a bit ran down with some items. Not to mention they do have a real saw in the construction zone to use, so extra supervision is needed in this room especially if you have children under 2 who like to touch everything.
Decent place for small kids to have fun. Stayed about an hour. Thought it would be larger, but kids enjoyed it for the time we were there. The grocery store area is a hit.
Great museum for kids and adults with lots of activities inside and outside of the museum. Kids loved it!
Just left here and wanted to leave a review. I honestly thought this place was bigger. It is really small compared to the other children museums I have gone to. There are also limited things younger children are able to do here. Their grocery area was the only area my daughter really enjoyed. They have a huge space for painting and arts and crafts which is good but thought they could’ve done better with that area. Their outside area is pretty basic as well. Wish there were more interactive things for children to do. Although the space is small their they can definitely improve and utilize their space more. Pricing was pretty reasonable for a family of 3 and they do offer 10% military discount as well. I don’t think we will return back here though unfortunately. I would drive to Columbia to the other children museums.
One of the best interactive moments with the kids I have ever had, honest! I didn't want to leave. I really enjoyed painting my crosses. The staff is soooooo lovely. I really will be back for sure! My family and I love it, the whole experience.
Overall good concept, with some interesting rooms. For the price you pay though, it is not worth it. Half of the exhibits/stations are out of order or don't work. For the amount of money they must bring in, you would think they would be able to keep up their exhibits for the children.
Highly recommended.
This is a hands-on, self-directed activity center focused on younger children and has a separate area designed for kids aged 0 - 3, and multiple areas for older kids to climb, put on costumes, and experiment with interesting things that demonstrate science.
The day we went can best be described as happy chaos, and while the children were free to roam, it all worked out as play.
Bring the littles, the strollers, and let your kids be kids.
After they have burned through their energy, ask the front desk for places to eat that are within walking (strolling) distance.
